Description:
Slate Hill is a traditional Lakeland farmhouse nestling in a rural location, within easy reach of the southern end of Lake Windermere and the coastal town of Grange-Over-Sands.We have uninterrupted views of the countryside from all aspects and an abundance of wildlife. Children and dogs are welcome and with just two ensuite letting rooms, we can guarantee a warm welcome and individual service.
We offer a wide selection for breakfast, which we hope will suit all tastes. You can find the menu on the meals page.In the summer months our guests can have a barbecue in the garden, full details can be found on the barbecue page.
We are open throughout the year, with the exception of Christmas & New Year. The house has central heating, together with a log burning stove in the dining room and an open log fire in the guest lounge. Visitors are welcome to wander at will in the garden or just sit and relax on the patio, a more tranquil spot, would be hard to find. The more adventurous guests, may like to explore our seventeen acres of land, the majority of which is deciduous woodland, a sight to behold at bluebell time.
