We are located in the quiet and peaceful little town of Waiohinu nestled on the slopes of Mauna Loa, 65 miles south of Hilo and 70 miles south of Kailua-Kona. Waiohinu is a typical plantation style community that has changed very little over the decades. We are not far from South Point (The Southern Most Point of the U.S.A.), where the first Polynesians set foot on Hawaiian soil, Punaluu Beach Park, where the Hawaiian green sea turtles swim in the sea and sun themselves on the beach and just 15 minutes from the Sea Mountain Golf Course. For the stout of heart hiker, the hike to Green Sands Beach is breathtaking.
