The Ship Inn is one of the oldest inns on Exmoor, with roaring log fires in the winter and a large outdoor seating area and children's play area for the summer months.The hotel accommodation in Porlock consists of 5 centrally heated bedrooms, all en-suite, all with colour television and tea making facilities.
Home made food using local produce is served daily in the bar and restaurant. Cask Marque recommended Real Ales and ciders are served in a genuine Exmoor bar. Pets are most welcome and ample car parking is available.Situated in the beautiful village of Porlock surrounded on three sides by the hills of Exmoor and, on the fourth, by the sea, the Ship Inn makes a wonderful holiday destination.
The Ship Inn offers five centrally heated bedrooms, all en-suite. All rooms have colour television and tea/coffee making facilities.We have our own large car park and pets are welcome.A selection of old fashioned bar games are available during our quiter times including Table Skittles and Shove Ha'penny.
We have an outside seating area protected by a heated cover, for use in all weathers.There is also an upper garden with a large children's play area.Parking is available in our large private car park.Functions and groups catered for. Recent successful events include: weddings, christenings, special birthdays, graduations, hunt meets and anniversaries.
