Wonderfully situated at St. Bees on the Solway Firth coast and within a short drive of the beautiful Lake District. The small, historic village has many points of interest including a 12th Century priory and a fine public school.

A nine hole golf course is within walking distance of the hotel and St. Bees beach with its marvellous stretch of sand is only 100 yards away.

The hotel has 61 bedrooms each with a private bathroom, central heating, telephone with early call alarm, colour tv/radio and tea and coffee making facilities. A large car park is located at the front of the hotel along with a playground for children. The restaurant offers a fine a la carte menu with a carefully selected wine list and the attractive bar with its open fire place is ideal to relax over a rink before or after a meal.

Location was perfect for starting out on the Coast to Coast hike in the morning. The chef graciously came in early and cooked a delicious breakfast for us before we started out on a very long day. Food was also great the night before when we ate in the bar. Room was comfortable.

Locatiopn is perfect. Just above the beach. Plenty of parking space. Rooms were clean and spacious and staff very pleasant
