Your first glimpse of it's welcoming interior will be of the elegant hallway and its dominating stained glass window. Through then into the spacious lounge, where you may wish to enjoy a relaxing time of daily reflection sipping tea by the log fire, or maybe sample something a little stronger in our fine bar.
The homely ambience continues through into each one of the 12 charmingly decorated and furnished en-suite bedrooms. All the rooms have an individual appeal and character. However, if you are geared more to exploration it's the ideal place; horse riding, fishing, walking, bird watching, sailing etc. are all within minutes of the hotel, we can even arrange hot air ballooning for the adventurous.
The Windermere Ferry is only minutes from the House allowing you swift access to the East of the great Lake, whilst the road North takes you straight to the heart of the very Lake District - Ambleside, Hawkshead, Coniston, Langdale, Grasmere and Keswick.
