Welcome to Roxburghs, our 2 purpose built cottages are set on the banks of the Millstream and are surrounded by magnificent Rose gums (eucalyptus Grandis). All Atherton Tableland attractions are within easy reach and because of our altitude, (+1000m), we experience none of the humidity of the coast. The Cairns Highlands offers a picturesque addition to your North Queensland experience

Our guests are offered a choice of self catering in a fully equipped cottage or be thoroughly pampered in our intimate restuarant.

Cottages:
Platypus Cottage
Designed with romance in mind where you can relax in the spa bath then watch the Platypus from your private deck.

Rosella Cottage
Enjoy the sounds of the myriad birdlife, relax, restore and revitalise.

GUEST SERVICES:
Both cottages are fully equipped. Enjoy fresh ground coffee and complimentary Port & Sherry sitting in front of your woodfire or cook local produce on the BBQ on your deck. A home away from home, where everything is provided.

A hearty cooked breakfast is available in our elegant dining room (Cereal, Fresh Fruit, Juice, Bacon Eggs Tomato, Toast, Tea/Coffee0 with views overlooking the gardens. Fine dining is also available in the evening, our a la carte menu changes regularly.

For the adventurous, use our canoe and go for a paddle in the Millstream.

For the ultimate in relaxation enjoy a Hot Stone Massage in the privacy of your cottage.

We are quite relaxed about the clock and have a very flexible approach to breakfast times. Check in time is after 2.00pm and check out time is 10.00am unless pre-arranged.

DIRECTIONS:
From Cairns by car via Kuranda Range
Take the Kennedy Highway from Smithfield roundabout for approximately 120klms passing by Kuranda & Mareeba and through Atherton. Approx 20klms after Atherton you will enter rainforest and start to climb onto the Evelyn Tablelands. Pass by Mt Hypipamee, pass the turnoff on right to Herberton, pass the turnoff on right to Ravenshoe via Tumoulin, pass the turnoff on left to Millaa Millaa/Innisfail. Then we are 3 klms further on on the right hand side just past the Millstream bridge.

From Cairns by car via Gillies Highway
Travel south from Cairns on the Bruce Highway to Gordonvale.Turn right at traffic lights and through roundabout after a kilometer. Climb the Gillies Range to come out onto the Atherton Tablelands. Turn left at the Lake Eacham Roadhouse and head to Malanda. Turn left at Malanda milk factory and head to Millaa Millaa. Pass through Tarzali and after approx 20klms turn right to Ravenshoe. Stay on the bitumen and turn left at T intersection which is Kennedy Highway. Then we are 3 klms further on on the right hand side just past the Millstream bridge.

From Innisfail by car via Palmerston Highway
After passing through Innisfail heading towards Cairns, turn left after 3klms onto the Palmerston Highway and follow it untill you pass through Millaa Millaa. Turn left after 3klms to Ravenshoe. Stay on the bitumen and turn left at T intersection which is Kennedy Highway. Then we are 3 klms further on on the right hand side just past the Millstream bridge.
