Rowhorne House is a large, Edwardian property, with spectacular views of the Roman City of Exeter and the Exe Estuary and yet it is only ten minutes from the City centre and St David's train station. Rowhorne House is in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the very heart of the English countryside.
The Cathedral City of Exeter offers regular train services from London Paddington with rail-air links to London Heathrow / Gatwick. Within a short distance of the property there are countryside walks through fields and woods extending for several miles, with breathtaking views. Maps with suggested routes and places of local interest are available on request.
The property is only a short distance from Dartmoor which offers opportunities for extensive walks, riding, shooting and countryside pursuits. With notice, we are happy to arrange day trip excursions to places of local interest, including country markets, antique-hunting, and the famous Devon cream teas. Accommodation comprises a double en-suite with shower and a twin bedded room with private shower room. Each bedroom has colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities. Rowhorne House is centrally heated. A choice of English or Continental breakfast is included. Guests may take breakfast on the sheltered verandah with exquisite views of the Exe Estuary and the countryside.
