Description:
It is situated just 6 miles from Ashbourne and 7 miles from Derby City with its cathedral and museums. Ashbourne is a pretty Georgian market town situated close to Dovedale and famous (amongst other things) for its gingerbread shop.

There are many historic houses in the locality within easy reach - Kedleston, Hardwich, Tissington Hall, Chatsworth and Sudbury to name but a few. There are numerous lovely walks in the immediate area including the Bonnie Prince Charlie walk which is a waymarked route from Ashbourne to Derby.

For those who like bike riding both the Tissington Trail and Carsington Water hire out bikes by the half and full day. We have two rooms on offer. One twin-bedded room and one double. Both have en suite shower rooms and have colour television.

We have an elegant sitting room for you to relax in at the end of a busy day. There are plenty of eating establishments in the area which provide food in the evening- one is within walking distance of the house.
