Bournemouth is reputed to be the South's premier resort and tourist destination. It is located on the south coast of England, bordered by Christchurch to the east and Poole to the west and overlooks Poole Bay. It is situated about 100 miles south-west of London. Prior to the 1974 local government reform, Bournemouth was part of Hampshire. Despite much local opposition, it was subsequently ceeded to Dorset. The town became an Independent Unitary Authority on 1st of April 1997. Bournemouth's main assets are the long sandy beach that runs the length of Poole Bay, all the way from Hengistbury Head to Poole's famous Sandbanks, first class entertainment, climate and proximity to the New Forest, Jurassic Coast, the Dorset and Hampshire countryside. Bournemouth and Poole enjoy some of the warmest, driest, and sunniest weather in Britain.

Bournemouth is one of Britain's premier coastal towns - boasting awarding winning Beaches, Parks and Gardens, Leisure Centre's, Restaurants, a superb variety of Golf Courses, Outdoor Sports and Indoor Bowls and Tennis facilities....not forgetting major entertainment venues offering the best in live performance.

Absolutely Fantastic!!! An ideal location. Owners were very friendly and accomodating. First impressions were totally blown away by the great standard rooms...great furniture, facilities, decor and the beautiful comfy bed!!! The only thing we didnt like was the scary doll sat in the pram outside our room...however this has proven to be quite a conversation piece between our friends and became an ever lasting memory of our trip! :) Thanks for a great stay! x
