Exeter is the Roman capital city of Devon and allows access to unspoiled coastal regions such as Sidmouth, Exmouth, Beer and Seaton.
The National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor are within easy reach, as are some beautiful National Trust Houses and Gardens.
There are a selection of high quality golf courses in the area, notably Woodbury Golf and Country Club, a challenge to any golfer, which is owned by Nigel Mansell.
Exeter is an ideal base for long and short breaks and Raffles is within easy walking distance of the University, City Centre and Devon Records Office.
The owners Richard and Sue Hyde also deal in Antiques, although their showroom is in Cullompton there are some items that can be purchased direct.
