Description:
A warm welcome awaits you at Piggys Pantry, situated less than 200 yards from a safe, sandy beach and coastal path; 5 mins from Heligan Gardens; 30 mins. from The Eden Project.
An ideal base to visit Cornwall from, or just stay locally to relax and unwind.
Gorran Haven's fine, safe, sandy beach is ideal for swimming or relaxing in the sun whilst the coastal footpaths offer glorious views of a magnificent coastline. The harbour is sheltered by a stone quay and there are visitor's moorings for boating enthusiasts.
To the south of Gorran Haven is one of the highest landmarks along the coast, Dodman Point, site of an ancient hill fort. Vault Beach, situated to the east of Dodman Point, offers a mile of silver sand enabling the visitor to enjoy this remarkable unspoilt beach.
Within close proximity are some outstanding examples of tropical Cornish gardens.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan, featured on television and recently restored, lie to the north. The gardens at Caerhays Castle are open to the public at certain times of the year. The much acclaimed Eden Project, said to be the eighth wonder of the world, has been fully open since spring 2001.
Caerhays Beach is sheltered with golden sand, beach café and ample parking. Hemmick Beach is reached through winding lanes and its rock pools and sheltered coves are ideal for those who prefer more seclusion.
