David Bush would like to extend to you a warm welcome to the Pickerings Hotel. We are situated in Garstang and are only twenty-five minutes drive from Preston, Blackpool and Lancaster. Easily accessible from the M6 North or South and nestling in two acres of rural Lancashire parkland, The Pickerings Hotel, is just a short ride from the Lake District, The Trough of Bowland and the beautiful Fylde Coast.
Our accommodation comprises of 14 rooms which are large, individually styled and comfortable. All of our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, colour TV and radio, hairdryer, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, full size iron and ironing board, direct dial telephone and a morning alarm call system. Four-poster rooms have mini-bars. There are honeymoon suites available complete with a whirlpool bath.
The Willow's Function Suite and our two restaurants provide the perfect setting for those special occasions, or you can relax in the bar with your own choice from our bar snacks menu. Lunch is served from Noon to 2:00pm Monday to Saturday and competitively priced to suit every pocket. Dinner is served from 6:00pm to 9:30pm Monday to Saturday with your own choice from our a la carte menu. Sunday Lunch - Our traditional menu is available from Noon to 8:00pm on Sunday's. Bar Snacks are also available during the above times except Saturday evening and Sunday after 6pm. The Bar is open all day with a large choice of Cask Conditioned Ales and Fine Wines and Spirits.
Just a short ride from the Lake District, Lancaster Castle and the Blackpool Illuminations, A twenty minute drive to the highlights of coastal Blackpool or historic Lancaster. After a short stroll along the Lancaster Canal or a hike in the fells you will soon confirm this is a part of England just too good to be missed. Garstang is situated midway between Preston and Lancaster and boasts a wealth of old buildings, numerous Weinds and a market, which dates back to the reign of King Edward II. Since 1310 this market has been held in the main street every Thursday. Easily accessible from the M6 North or South via the A6. At the gateway to the Lake District situated on the doorstep of the Forest of Bowland, which has been designated as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'.
