The village of Gunten nestles on Lake Thun, altitude 565 meters. The climate is pleasantly mild: a good reason why palm trees grow along the lake shore. The village has good public transport connections. The centre of Thun is only a 15-minute bus ride away. And Thun itself is well worth a visit. The old town, castle and Market (two workdays per week) are inviting places to explore.

In Thun you have to change to the public bus Nr. 21. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Gunten. The Parkhotel is close to the bus stop called "Gunten Dorf". You have also the possibility to reach Gunten from Thun by boat or by taxi.

The hotel is open from the middle of April to 2 January every year.
