A quiet, traditional Scottish Guest House, off the main road, built in 1881 on the banks of the River Orchy with a half acre garden running down to an old stone river bridge built in 1780.

The house was originally built as a village shop/general store and bakery, remaining as a shop until the late 50's, and converted into a guest house in the 60's.

Good views of the River Orchy, Ben Lui or Ben Cruachan can be had from most bedrooms.

Parking space for 8 cars.
Pets are welcome. We have 2 dogs, 5 cats, a pet sheep, tame pigeons and an aviary of cockateels, finches, love birds and diamond doves.

The accommodation comprises 8 letting rooms: 2 singles, 2 twins, 2 doubles and 2 family rooms (one family room for up to 4 persons and the other for up to 5 persons).

There are wash-hand basins, tea-making facilities, electric blankets and heaters in all the rooms.

Three toilets and two bathrooms, 1 fitted with a shower, are available for guest use.

There is a large guest lounge (the old shop) with an open log fire, piano, television and small library of interesting books.
