Description:
Newby Bridge Hotel over looks the southern tip of Lake Windermere. The hotel is a former Georgian Mansion with lots of character. The lounge and bar both offer real log fires and bar meals are served daily.
There are 38 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Many of the bedrooms have four poster beds and jacuzzi baths. There is a leisure club for the exclusive use of hotel guests which has an indoor swimming pool, steam room. jacuzzi and a small gymnasium. The mediteranean gardens at the rear of the hotel offer a quiet retreat.
Each of the Newby Bridge Hotel's bedrooms is individually styled and all have en-suite facilities with bath and shower. Many of the bedrooms offer Four Poster Beds and Four Poster Beds with en-suite Jacuzzi Baths. There are also a number of bedrooms situated in the Hotels courtyard which are suitable for families. All the bedrooms offer Hospitality Tray, Remote control Satellite Television, Radio, Direct Dial Telephone and Hairdryer.
Dining at the Newby Bridge Hotel is a real pleasure. Our menu changes daily and offers a wide choice, using locally grown fresh produce whenever possible, much of it from our own Victorian kitchen garden. We offer special menus for vegetarians and children.
The hotel Dining Room retains its original oak panels and overlooks the Mediterranean gardens. Hi-Life Diners Club Cards are welcome in our Garden view Restaurant and entitle the holder to a "2 for 1" discount on a 3 course Table d'hote meal.
We have our own kitchen garden, which supplies as much quality fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs as we can, all grown using organic principles. We rear our own free range Middle White Pork and Herdwick Lamb and take great care over our suppliers. Cumbria is world famous for it's beef and lamb, reared in our lush green hills. Our suppliers offer complete traceability and give a guarantee of flavour and tenderness.
