Mylne Bridge House Bed & Breakfast Guest House is set in a quiet corner of Windermere and is within easy walking distance of Lake Windermere and the village shopping centre with numerous cafes and restaurants. Superbly located for a relaxing break or something more energetic, such as cycling or walking in the spectacularly beautiful Lakeland fells.
Every room has a parking space available in our private car park enabling you to leave your car behind and enjoy the pleasures of the Lake District perhaps from the deck of a pleasure cruiser or the top of a tour bus.
We pride ourselves on the high standard of housekeeping, and all the care and attention to detail that makes the difference to ensure you enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay. Friendliness humour and good old hospitality are assured – Jim is especially knowledgeable about the area and is available to help plan days out, and always makes a point of making children feel welcome.
If you are traveling to Windermere by public transport Mylne Bridge House is just half a mile from the railway and coach station. Perhaps we can organise a tour for you, so you can concentrate on relaxing and enjoying the scenery while someone else does the driving.
Alternatively, you could enjoy a pleasure cruise on Lake Windermere and visit Ambleside or Lakeside by boat. At Lakeside you can take a ride on a steam train through the beautiful Leven Valley, or visit the uniquely fascinating Aquarium of the Lakes - Britain's premier freshwater aquarium.
