Description:
The original part of Mora House was built in 1661 (from there a gargoyle looks on to the garden at the rear) and the front added to in 1836.
We are situated very close to local amenities, in a very quiet street and just opposite the County Building. Full english breakfast is provided, at a time to suit you, and you may have a 3 course evening meal by arrangement. I am also quite happy to provide you with sandwiches or snacks if you prefer.
At Mora House we offer as many facilities as possible to our guests to make your stay more enjoyable. As well as the usual hot drinks making facilities, we have just installed new TV/video in our rooms and there is a selection of videos in the dining room for your use free of charge. All bedrooms are also equiped with mini-'fridges where fresh milk and bottled water are supplied. Any other requests for facilities not yet available will be supplied where possible.
All bedrooms in Mora house are bright and spacious and have TV and hot drink making making facilites with fresh home-made biscuits.
None are en suite as yet, but all have wash hand basins and 1 double room also has a shower. Bath and shower facilities are on the same floor as the bedrooms.
All rooms have TVs with VCR and a large selection of videos is available, in the dining room for your use.
Hair driers are also available in your room.
If there is anything you require in your room which is not supplied - then you only have to ask and it shall be done!
