Description:
The Moorland Hotel is situated on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park with unspoilt views across the moors to the sea beyond. Foot/bridle paths lead from the hotel over the moorland. It is the ideal centre for touring this beautiful and very interesting part of South Devon.
Including the beaches of the South Hams, beautiful Dartmoor, and the coastal city of Plymouth (just 20 minutes away) with all its maritime history. There is also a wealth of National Trust properties in close proximity and the Eden Project in Cornwall is a pleasant hour's drive away.
If travelling down the A38 Exeter to Plymouth Expressway, take the Lee Mill exit (not far after Ivybridge). Turn Right at the first T junction and after the underpass, turn right again at the second. Then take the first left and follow the road through Cornwood and then on to Wotter. It's about 6 miles along this road (ignore turnoff to Wotter) before you come to the hotel on your left.
