Description:
Welcome to Minstrel’s Rest Bed and Breakfast in Hastings. We are a medieval themed Guest House situated within a five minute drive of Hastings town centre and seafront. All rooms are newly decorated and furnished to a medieval theme which runs throughout the house. Minstrel’s Rest is the perfect place for both holiday and business guests to relax and explore the historic sites of Hastings and 1066 country. ROOMS:
We currently have two double en-suite rooms and a twin room with private bathroom. The rooms all feature Tea/coffee making facilities, TV with Freeview, bathrobes, hairdryer, mini-fridge with fruit juices and fresh milk, and we also provide a comprehensive toiletry basket, which is of course complementary.
There is unrestricted free parking in our quiet road. Our breakfast menu is extensive and varied. Wireless broadband internet is freely available and guests are welcome to bring their own laptop. Minstrel's Rest B&B in Hastings is a non-smoking establishment.
TARIFF:
Our rooms are £60 per night for two people sharing and £40 for single occupancy.
We offer a discount for stays of 5 nights or more.
BREAKFAST:
At Minstrel’s Rest B&B in Hastings we provide a full cooked English breakfast as standard. Alternatively we can also provide vegetarian, vegan or most other dietary options as a special request prior to your stay.
Most of our produce is sourced locally. Our sausages are made by the local butcher, and our eggs are from free range chickens from the local farm. All of our jams and marmalades are home made from strawberries, apples, loganberries, currants, plums and blackberries grown in our garden.
MEDIEVAL FEASTS:
Why not live the full medieval experience during your stay at Minstrel's Rest Guest House and indulge in a medieval feast. You will be provided with handmade authentic medieval costumes for the night, which you will find hanging in your room on your arrival. You will then be ready to partake in a three course medieval feast fit for a King. £25 per head. See our website for menu details.
