Description:
We look after our guests in every way especially in catering and comfort. Mayfield is pleasantly situated in Bournemouth's East Cliff overlooking Knyveton Gardens for bowling greens, tennis, cafe and sensory garden. The Blue Flag miles of sandy beaches are only a short pleasant pine tree lined walk passing by Langtry Manor the former home of Edward VII and his mistress Lillie Langtry.
We are also conveniently situated for the railway station, coach station / travel interchange which is approximately a 10 minute walk. Bus stops, beaches and shops are only a short pleasant walk. We serve a full English breakfast or continental breakfast or smoked fish if preferred and a four course evening meal and a selection of teas or coffee. We offer bed and breakfast or bed breakfast and evening meal.
All our double/twin and family bedrooms have toilet and shower ensuite and our single rooms have their own private bathroom. All rooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard with pine furniture and have a remote control colour teletext TV, tea making facilities with fresh milk, fridge (silent running) radio alarm, shaver points, trouser press, desk reading light, hairdryer, luggage rack and desk fan for your comfort in summer and full central heating. Everything to make your stay that little bit more comfortable.
Bournemouth is an ideal location with its seven miles of sandy Blue Flag safe beaches some of the cleanest in Europe, Bounemouth Eye pleasure balloon, oceanarium, excellent shops, many pleasant walks, imax cinema, restaurants and night clubs.
Mayfield is ideally situated to visit many places of interest and is very convenient for the coach and rail station (Travel Interchange), bus stops and coach tours. There is a regular coach (2hr. 30 mins) and train (1hr. 40 mins) service to London and Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
