The manor house, located in the unpronouncable village of Röjtökmuzsaj, 20 minutes by car from Sopron at the Hungarian boarder, came to being arround 1750 originally planned as a hunting lodge. Before the end of WWII the aristocratic family of count Zichy resided here. After years of uncertenty, the castle was converted to a luxerious castle hotel by the intusiastic and energetic Hungarian Marta Derry.

The romantic- and ferytale castle is surrounded by a 15 acres large idyllic park with playgrounds, sports facilities, outside pooul, its own small zoo, and a strong mystic energy field.

For most of the travellers the center peace of their stay is one of the best hotel wellness centres in Hungary, which leaves no wishes open for the guest.

Our very different suites and room categories suit each budget. No room, no suite looks the same, all individually furnished. And – unique for a hotel – each room carries its own hungarian female name, to emphasise the personal character of this castle hotel. Our guests can choose if they either prefer to reside aristocratic in the main castle building, or romantic and relaxing in the hunting lodge or country house. Both in walking distance to the castle, within the hotels park.

Our wellness bath house offers exotic and classical massages and relaxing techniques. Furthermore of course we offer what is to be expected of a first class wellness center: not only massages, but peronalised health advise, “body wrappings” (chocolate wrappings for the lady and tokay wine wrappings for the gentleman), aroma baths, etc. We alwais look out for new ways to surprise our guests, so for example we currently offer „Thai massage open air under the shadow of a 250 year old tree in the middle of our mystic castle park...” . If all this sounds too stressful, our guests can just enjoy our indoor- and outdoor (Summer) swimming pool, the whirlpool, finnish Sauna, steam room and finish off with a cup of tea from our tea bar.

Our award winning cuisine surprises with delishes hungarian and international specialities. Either a la carte or as part of a package or halboard a well balanced fixed course menue, or for special events an exciting buffett.
Our guests will be spoiled with recepies prepared with vegetables and spices from our own garden, as well as the typical hungarian „mangaliza pork experience“. And finally, of course our wine celler awaits the guests with an excellent selection of Hungarian wines to taste and enjoy.
