Situated on Cleeve Hill between the famous spa town of Cheltenham and historic Winchcombe, with breathtaking views over the Malvern valley, the hotel is now owned and run by husband and wife team, Paul and Anna Hackett.
Having been a popular haunt for the local community for many years, Paul and Anna, who previously ran the celebrated Yew Tree Inn in Clifford Mesne, are taking The Malvern View Hotel to a new level. Alongside the Hotel is Hackett’s, a destination restaurant building up a great reputation for excellent food in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
The Malvern View Hotel is ideally placed to host your business meeting or special occasion whether you are celebrating a birthday with a few friends, hosting a family get together or planning something more intimate. With our attention to detail you can be sure that all your arrangements are tailored to meet your needs.
There are two recently refurbished drawing rooms situated on the ground floor, adjacent to the restaurant, with chairs and sofas providing guests with a comfortable and quiet environment in which to relax.
Our four simply furnished, yet charming, bedrooms offer broadband internet access, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Three of our rooms have ensuite facilities and each room has a view over Malvern.
Food and wine is the order of the day at Hackett’s and Paul who works full-time in the kitchen has created a menu of the very highest of standards. Using only the very freshest of produce, many from local suppliers, dishes are cooked to perfection. Whilst the atmosphere is informal, all dishes are served on bone china plates with starched linen, silver cutlery and crystal glasses.
