Description:
The Lutwidge Arms Hotel is a Victorian roadside Inn with a Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Dating back to the 1850's and taking the name of the Lutwidge family of Holmrook Hall, (who includes Lewis Carroll of Alice in Wonderland fame), it combined the roles of working farm and Inn for may years.
The Hotel has been owned and personally run by the Law family since Jan 2008. It provides excellent accommodation and food to a mixture of business clients and holidaymakers.
We have 15 en-suite bedrooms; they consist of King-size, Family, Double, Twin and Single rooms. Each room has remote control television, direct dial telephones and tea/coffee making facilities.
Our King-size rooms, newly built in Spring 2005, have modem points and are superbly appointed.
Four of our bedrooms are situated on the ground floor level as are all of our amenities.
Our hotel has a warm and cosy bar, serving real ales and interesting wines to both residents and locals.
We offer a large selection of freshly home-cooked food each evening in our bar and restaurant, which also boasts a non-smoking lounge area for you to relax before or after dinner.
Children are always welcome and can select from a special menu of home quality food.
