Description:
Set in landscaped gardens and surrounded by 5 acres of woodland, Low Wood Hall was built in the 1860¹s for a local Brewer, Thomas Dalzell and his family. Indeed his initials can still be seen in the magnificent stained glass window above the entrance to the Hotel.
The main house retains many features from the Victorian era, including
gasoliers in the lounges, tiled and pine stripped floors and marble
fireplaces. All of which add to the character of the Hotel.
Directions (turn off A595 at Gosforth and bear left for Wasdale, after 3m turn right for Nether Wasdale)
