Long Orchard House is pleasantly situated 2 minutes walk from the attractive centre of Somerton, the ancient capital of Wessex.
Amenities within the town are excellent, offering specialist shops, restaurant, pubs and take-away.

For those interested in fishing there are the Somerton Viaduct Fisheries only 10 minutes walk from the hour.
Somerton is within easy reach, only ½ house from M5 junction 23 and only 3 miles from the A303 main south west route.

Long Orchard was ideal for our family of 4, the accomodation is good, the breakfast was superb, Carol was friendly and welcoming and the position was ideal for the town centre and other local tourist attractions. I would thouroghly recommend Long Orchard.

It is hard to find the place as there is no street sign called station path. Once you are there it is a great place to stay. It had a great view from the room and a beautiful garden to relax. Carol looked after us very well.

Had a lovely overnight stay here. Very private and quiet but only a few yards from the middle of Somerton. The breakfast was superb.
