Description:
Surrounded by hills overlooking the beautiful Vale of Clwyd stands Llainwen Ucha - a dairy farm with unrivalled views of such splendour! The Nearest town is medieval Ruthin, which boasts its own castle, craft centre and livestock market, together with many indigenous shops and fascinating architecture.
Energetic visitors will be keen to walk Offa's Dyke which traverses the Clwydian range and provides spectacular views of the Welsh coastline and Snowdonian National Park in the distance, whilst the keen gardener will appreciate the world famous Bodnant Gardens.
A mere 8 miles away is Llangollen. "The land of song" as it is sometimes called - other attractions are a canal which is spanned by the Pontcysllite Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford; a steam railway and Play Newydd the home of the ladies of Llangollen from 1780 until 1829.
Relics of our fiery history abound with castle in Langollen, Rhuddlan, Conwy, Denbigh and Boddelwyddan to name a few.
For the family holiday the coast is a necklace of seaside resorts with Rhyl (just 20 miles away) as the main attraction - sun centre, fun fair and Europe's largest fun pool.
