Litani was originally an old wine Bodega which has been lovingly transformed into a beautiful 7 bedroom guest house, bar & restaurant. We have managed to retain most of its character but have added the benefit of modern en-suite facilities.THE AREA:
Inland Costa Blanca has much to offer where small towns and villages are surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Spain. The Costa Blanca is also known to be one of the healthiest places to live or stay in the world with its warm climate and minimal rainfall.
Litani is located between the towns of Pinoso and Monovar. Pinoso, the nearest town is a traditional small Spanish town with only 6500 inhabitants, although small it is claimed to be the fifth wealthiest town in Spain. Pinoso may be a small town but it still has all modern amenities such as medical centre, schools, sports centre and supermarkets etc as well as a good selection of Spanish restaurants and bars.
The Pinoso area is surrounded by vineyards and bodegas which produce very high quality red wine and this can be purchased by the bottle, your own container or even barrel at very low prices. There are many beautiful area's surrounding Pinoso and one way to enjoy this is to take picnic up in the hills where there is a picnic area where BBQ's, tables, benches and fresh running water has been provided.
LOCATION/DIRECTIONS:
Litani is in Spain and located approximately 35 minutes inland from Alicante, nestled in the mountains between Monovar and Pinoso on the CV 83. To the North Benidorm is easily reached within an hours drive, to the South Torrevieja will take approximately an hour and Yecla, famous for furniture will take approximately 1/2 an hour and Jumilla, famous for its red wine is approximately 20 Mins.
This region is served by 2 airports, Alicante & Murcia with Alicante being a 35 min drive and Murcia 80 mins.
Alicante Airport:
On exiting the airport follow the signs for Valencia/Murcia, these are blue signs which indicate motorway. Immediately the road bears left and you must move across to the right hand lane or you will end up back in the airport. Continue to follow the signs for Valencia A-70 and Madrid A31, it is the A31 that you require. Exit the A-70 at junction 71b and continue to follow the signs for Madrid A31. As you come off the slip road move across to the left as soon as possible and on to the A31 Madrid. Continue along this road for approx 30 Kilometers past Elche/Agost/Novelda, you need to exit for Elda-Monovar and take the CV83 signed Monovar. Continue to follow signs for Monovar and just outside Monovar is a roundabout, take the second exit signed El Pinos, Jumilla and continue to follow El Pinos (Pinoso). You will pass a garage on your left in the village of Mana after approx 10KM, continue along this road for approx 4 km and just before the right turn to Culebron their is a small clump of houses on your left, turn left and Litani guesthouse, bar and restaurant is the last house.
ACCOMODATION/RATES:
Litani has traditional Spanish style bedrooms (most with original beams) and quality modern bathrooms which ensure you have a taste of typical Spain with the Luxury of modern amenities. We have three double and four twin rooms, 6 are on-suite and 1 has a private bathroom. 1 Double is a large family room (sleeps up to 4) and 1 twin has its own private terrace. Our room rates are as follows: Double or twin en-suite 50 EUR,Twin en-suite with private patio 55 EUR, Family room en-suite (sleeps 4) 60 EUR and Twin with private bathroom 45 EUR
