King's Hill Inn is completely restored with the same peace and tranquillity the farm had 200 years ago. Awaken to the sounds of birds greeting a new day, walk the nature trails & garden paths, or just sit and enjoy the beautiful White Mountain sunset from theback yard or your own personal deck. Enjoy deer, chipmunks and an occasional black bear sighting.
You can bike the mountain loop for breathtaking views and hike to the top of Streaked Mountain on a fully groomed trail. Cool off with a dip in one of our beautiful lakes or canoe down the lazy Saco River. Area mines still offer an exciting experience for the gem and mineral enthusiast and an opportunity to take a piece of Maine with you.
October brings crisp clear days, spectacular fall foliage, and the renown Fryeburg Fair. The wonderful array of winter activities may take you skiing on one of the area slopes, snowmobiling the miles of snow covered trails or snowshoeing along a quiet path.
Visit with Nessie and Katie during your stay at King's Hill Inn! Adults and children alike, love to visit with this Scottish Highlander and miniature horse. We have carrots and treats for Nessie and Katie that you can feed them while visiting.
