Welcome to the Jardin Gorbeau. We are located just 50 meters from the beach at Etretat one of France's most picturesque towns and just 2 hours from Paris. Our compound has three buildings around a private garden. The main building is one of Etretat's oldest mansions, dating from 1824.

The houses have been completely renovated and recently opened to the public.! We also have a salon which serves as film screening room evenings and a dining room where you can have your breakfast. Or have it on the terrace or in another common salon in the "maison des amis".
All rooms have high-speed internet, double-sized showers and firm orthopedic beds. We do not allow smoking inside the buildings. The Jardin Gorbeau has been awarded "4 Keys" by the prestigious French rating authority Clévacances. It is the only B&B in the department of Seine-Maritime with that rating.

Rooms:
The Laigle Suite: The Laigle suite is on the top floor of the ABC building. The ABC was the "maison des amis" and has been completely restructured, with soundproofing, and modern heating and plumbing, and furnishings of the highest quality. High speed internet in the room. The space is well lit with two dormers giving a 180 degree view of the garden and town and up to the top of the cliffs. The bed is 160cm wide with a firm 100% latex mattress.

The Enjolras Suite: The Enjolras suite is on the first floor of the ABC house. The ABC has been completely restructured, with soundproofing, and modern heating and plumbing, and furnishings of the highest quality. Enjolras has its own salon/study with a desk and reading chair and convertible sofa bed for children or additional guests. The bed is 160 cm wide and has a 100% latex mattress on firm base for your comfort. The bed comes from south Asia and is made of bamboo "déroulé". The newly renovated bath has a large double-size shower, and all Grohe fixtures, heated towel rack.

The Gavroche Suite: The Gavroche suite is on the second floor of the main building. It includes a large bedroom decorated with design elements from the 1970's and which trace the imaginary life of a modern-day Gavroche. There is a large comfortable double bed with 100% latex firm mattress. The Gavroche suite includes a private salon with flat screen TV and a convertible sofa. All in a warm and sound insulated building overlooking the town and our private garden.

The Fantine Suite: The Fantine suite is located on the first floor of the main building. It has a large double bed, view on to the garden, and shares a large salon with Cosette. If you are two couples you can rent the whole floor, Cosette and Fantine, and have the salon between you. The bed is 160 cm wide and has a 100% latex mattress on firm base for your comfort. There are two large windows that look onto our private garden. Extraordinary calm, and right in the center of Etretat just a few steps from the beach.

The Cosette Suite: The Cosette Suite is located on the first floor of the main building. It includes a large bedroom with a queen sized bed with 100% latex mattress. There is an ante-chambre with desk and chair and the flat screen TV. The bathroom is luxuriously equipped with a large double shower and all-Grohe fixtures. The Cosette suite is next to the salon which is shared with the Fantine Suite

Breakfast: Served from 9 to 11 in the dining room or on the terrace, we offer a copious continental breakfast with fresh croissants and pain au chocolate from the local bakery, fresh breads, healthy bio serials, a selection of marmalades, fruit both dried and fresh, and coffee, tea or chocolate.

Golf: Etretat boasts one of France’s best golf courses, overlooking the sea up on the cliffs.
