Description:
The Imperial Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of California's historic Gold Country where the latest gold is found in the award-winning Zinfandel, Barbera and Syrah wines produced in Amador County and surrounding areas. Built in 1879, the hotel has maintained its historic character and today provides a base from which to explore the area's wineries, historic sites and antique and specialty shops.
The hotel offers six uniquely decorated guest rooms on the second floor, each with private bath, luxury linens and central heating and air conditioning. Five rooms have queen-sized beds, one has a king-sized bed with the option of conversion to two twins. There are two sets of adjoining rooms which can become suites.
GUEST SERVICES:
Our regionally acclaimed restaurant provides guests with a full gourmet breakfast included in the room rate and the option of dining in casual elegance at the end of the day. Breakfast is served between 8.00 and 9.00am in the dining room with French windows overlooking the garden. Dinner is served Wednesday through Saturday 5.00 to 9.00pm and Sunday 5.00 to 8.00pm.
The historic Oasis Bar on the first floor of the hotel has a wine list of carefully selected, award-winning local wines as well as domestic and imported liquors and beers. Guests are able to relax in the Hotel’s bar, the second floor library, on the front balcony overlooking the town of Amador City or on the secluded walled garden patio.
Check in time is between 3.00pm and 9.00pm and check out time is 11.00am unless pre-arranged. There is a two-night minimum booking on weekends during certain months of the year. Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours before scheduled arrival to avoid a room charge.
