Description:
Iceni House was converted from a family home into the seven bedroom Bed & Breakfast that it is today by the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Blackburn, in November 2002. Colin and Michelle are highly experienced in hospitality and pride themselves in the individual design of their home. You will receive a warm welcome from your hosts, who will attempt to make your stay as comfortable and pleasurable as they can.
The house is maintained to an excellent standard of decor and cleanliness achieving a four diamond tourist board rating on the first attempt and maintaining this for the four plus years which they have been established, resulting recently in being awarded 4 Stars. The house has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is enviably situated seconds away from a park, which has an outdoor paddling pool (free of charge), children's play area, bowling green and tennis court.
Iceni House is in a great location, minutes from the ring road. Buses run from the end of the road into the heart of the city, every five minutes during peak times. Within walking distance of the B & B are numerous places to eat all manners of food, as well as a friendly local pub and many coffee shops, stores and other outlets.
Only a ten minute walk from us is the new 'Cambridge Leisure Park' which now has a 28 lane bowling alley with arcade, various food outlets, an LA Fitness gym and a fantastic multi screen cinema with bar.
The 'Junction' night club is also situated on the new leisure park. Not only is it a night club but it also has regular gigs and shows on, most nights of the week.
