Hunting Lodge Estate and Safari Lodges is set high on a hill just one hour from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in the heart of Queensland cattle country. We have a large boutique winery, 4 round African style lodges and a museum of animals and artifacts personnally collected. Lodges are themed Zebra, Leopard, Giraffe and Elephant and decorated apropiatlely. The views are outstanding and the decor so unusual and comfortable you will want to tell all your friends. Lodges sleep 2 or up to 6 persons and have reverse cycle air conditioning and a little kitchenette for personnal cooking. You may prefer to eat in the bar with your host or travel into the township of Kilcoy to meet the locals. HuntingLodge Estate Winery will take you through the wine making proceedures and you may taste out of the vats. We make whited and reds, sweet and dry, and a great range of fortifieds for the port and liquer fans. Come and see what the Australian country life is all about.
