Welcome to The Hotel Restaurant KYRIAD Carentan which is conveniently located between Bayeux and Cherbourg and half way between Utah beach and Omaha Beach. Our 36 rooms two star hotel is ran by the Johnson-Kuhn family, our aim and passion is to make your stay as enjoyable and as confortable as possible.

Holiday and business guests are assured to have a warm welcome and an pleasant stay in our Hotel, we try to have rooms to suite all requirements, smoking or non smoking rooms, rooms on the ground floor for people with walking difficulties, family rooms for up to 6 people, and two rooms which have a comfort similar to a 3 star hotel .

All our rooms are en-suite, have tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, flat screen tv with satelite channels inc. BBC prime, Deutshe Welle and Euro-sport, for the Children: Disney Channel.

Our restaurant is renowned in the whole Cotentin peninsula, the chef has been well known in the region for the last 30 years.
All our dishes are prepared from fresh local products, such as wild fish: Lemon Sole, Sea Bass, Sea food and Sea Shells : Oysters, Scalops, Mussels, as well as a wide selection of meat dishes: Veal à la Normande, Beef skewer which hangs over your plate...( all dishes are subject to availability and fishing season).

We will be happy to welcome you in our establishment throughout the year, we have a large terrasse for your meal "Al fresco" in the summer, and a large bar, reception with a pool table.
For the children we have small play area outside.

The hotel is located in the regional marsh land of Cotentin and Bessin, you will find close bye, nice walks, flat boat trips, bird sanctuaries, long sandy beaches, and within an hour drive: le Mont St Michel, St vaast la hougue and its marina, Tatihou island, Bayeux tapestry (30 minutes), and much more, we will be very happy to help you with your daily visits and recommend places of interrest during your stay.

Family room 1: a double bed and bunk beds, bathrooms with bath and shower ( non smoking)
Family room 2: three single beds, bathroom with bath ( non smoking)
Family room 115: a double bed and bunk beds, bathroom with shower
Family room 214: 2 interconnecting rooms, one with a double bed, one with 3 single beds and a toddler car bed, bathroom with shower, tv in each room
Suite10: 3* confort: twin bedded room with bathroom with a large shower ( non smoking)
Suite11: 3* confort: double bad and sofa bed, coffee table, large bathroom with bath
The other rooms are either double or twin bedded rooms, all have been newly renovated, most have duvets.

Typical rates are from 45€ to 75€ per room per night ( one or two people sharing)
Family rooms from 50€ to 100 € per night.
Suite 10 or 11 from 55€ to 100€ per night.
Buffet breakfast served in the restaurant at 8,50€ per person
Menus from 12,50€ to 25,50€
Children menu from 8€ to 12€

Directions:
By train from Paris or Cherbourg, The station is about 1,5 mile from the hotel
We have a right hand side drive car to rent at the hotel, a left hand side drive car can be rented out from an outside company

By car:
From Paris , Caen or Bayeux take the RN13 towards Cherbourg, drive pass Bayeux, Isigny sur Mer, take the exit for Carentan, the hotel is at about 800 yards on your left hand side after the second round about.

From Cherbourg, do not take the 1st exit for Carentan, but the second one ( after le pont canal) which is sign posted for St Hilaire Petitville, St Lo, follow the signs for Carentan from the round about, the hotel is 800 yards on the left hand side.
