ABOUT US:
Hotel Ter Duinen is the kind of hotel that you always wanted to discover. Beautifully situated along the Langerei, Ter Duinen offers an authentic ambiance. Leisure and business guests are assured of a warm welcome and a pleasant stay at the Ter Duinen Hotel.
ROOMS:
Hotel Ter Duinen has got 20 rooms in total. All rooms are a bit different. Some have a beautiful canal view, others are situated at the back. Some rooms are larger, other smaller. There are also a few rooms situated on the groundfloor (overlooking a small passageway). Beside the single and double rooms we also have rooms especially for families (3 of 4 people in total). All our rooms have private facilities: e.g private bathroom with bath and/or shower, toilet and hairdryer, tv, radio, telephone, safe, alarm clock, central heating and airco (for the hot days), wireless internet access, ... We also have an elevator!
GUEST SERVICES:
After a good night of sleep an excellent breakfast is waiting for you! The buffet needs a lot of preparing because at Ter Duinen you receive fresh orange juice (we squeeze the organges ourselves), the fresh fruit salad is made in the morning, all meats and cheese are sliced just short before breakfast starts. And of course your boiled egged is cooked as you like it.
Hotel Ter Duinen has a conservatory and a small patio (garden) where you can relax or have something to drink.
Parking is no problem at all. You can park right in front of the hotel (free parking, but limited in time as everywhere in the town) or you can rent a garage during your stay (12,50 EUR/N).
In hotel Ter Duinen there is a free internet-corner (where you can check your e-mails, etc) and there is also wireless internet available in all the rooms (free of charge).
AREA INFORMATION:
Hotel Ter Duinen is not situated on the Market Square itself. It's a bit hidden, away from the busy tourist area, a discovery for most guests. In fact, this is the kind of place tourists are looking for nowadays. It's a ten-minutes-walk to the Market Square, but as soon as you leave the hotel you walk along a beautiful canal.
There is also a very good bus connection (stop next to hotel) which brings you every 10 minutes to the centre or to the trainstation (bus n° 4 and 14). From the hotel it's easy to go elsewhere (by bike, by car, by train or by bus): Damme (small medieval town) is 5km away, the coast 20km, Ghent 50km, ....
