Description:
Located in the heart of the city, a few steps away from the historical Spanish Steps, from Via Condotti, high end designer shopping street, the Hotel Internazionale is within walking distance from the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain and Navona Square.
OUR HISTORY:
Historically, the Hotel Internazionale is deeply rooted, as its wisteria climbing up to roof, in a system of buildings dated back to the time of Pope Sixtus V (XVI sec.), which were in turn built on the Horti Luculliani (Lucullian Gardens) dated I sec. b.C. It is still possible to see many of the original ancient structures, which have been carefully restored and kept, while adapting the Hotel to the modern necessities of hospitality.
THE INTERIOR:
The hall is almost an archaeological museum. After the reception counter, in the common relax area, it is possible to admire a Roman column, dated I sec. b.C., whole and perfectly kept, headed by a beautiful embossed capital. Same age of the column is the Roman well, which can be seen in the bar area.
ROOMS & SUITES:
Hotel Internazionale offers 42 rooms: singles, double single use, standard double rooms (some with balcony), superior double rooms (some with internal patio), quad rooms and Suites.
The rooms are all different from one another, each with its particular atmosphere, each will make every stay personal and unforgettable.
All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, telephone, air conditioning satellite TV, safe, minibar and FREE (!!!) Wi-Fi connection. No-smoking rooms are available.
OUR TERRACE:
From the Hotel’s terrace it is possibile to enjoy an exceptional view: St. Peter’s Dome majesticly emerges and the Roman roofs melt into the red of sunset creating a unique barouque and melancholic atmosphere.

From Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino): take the Highway Roma/Fiumicino – Exit ‘Via C.Colombo’, direction "Centro" - Terme di Caracalla - Lungotevere - Viale del Muro Torto - Via di Porta Pinciana - Via F.Crispi - Via Sistina, on the right.
How to reach Hotel Internazionale by public transport:
From Leonardo da Vinci airport (Fiumicino): it is advisable to take a taxi, approximate cost ca. € 50.00.
It is also possibile to organze a private transfer from the airport, approximate cost ca. € 65.00
From Leonardo da Vinci airport it is also possibile to take the train ‘Leonardo Express’, arrive at Termini Central Station, take subway/underground A direction ‘Battistini’, step down at ‘Spagna’ stop, take the elevator to the Spanish Steps. The Hotel is on via Sistina, 79.
