If you think of new-millennium therapies, in a Farmhouse Spa, set in Exmoor National Park, you get an idea of our inspiration. We have the spectacular, many would say spiritual, scenery of atmospheric Exmoor National Park with its pure air, wonderful wildlife and little traffic.
We offer informal tailor made Spa breaks for couples and girlie/Hen weekends, rather than the group nature of a retreat or the glossy clinical image of a health farm. Walking the moor and visiting the village pub are just as important a part of the Spa break as the treatments.
The old farm barns set around a small courtyard have been converted to a Spa building forming one side of the courtyard and accommodation on the other two sides. Choose either bed and breakfast rooms in the Long Barn or one of the self-catering cottages, the smallest one sleeping 2 and the largest sleeping 6.
Exmoor is an area of outstanding natural beauty, famous for its red deer and ponies, spectacular scenery and pretty villages which provide an excellent backdrop for walking and riding. The spectacular sands at Woolacombe and Saunton and the rocky coves of Combe Martin and Heddon’s Mouth are only a short drive as are the old fishing ports of Lynmouth and Porlock.
