Description:
Historic Fenn Lodge, "the finest heritage building in the district"... was built in 1903 by Charles Fenn Pretty; a founder of British Columbia's forestry industry. Charles designed and built most of the house, including the stairway newels and banisters.

The main dining room, living room and library floors, with their intricate in-lays, are reputed to be the first parquet floors installed in British Columbia by the B.C. Hardwood Floor Company Ltd. For decades, Fenn Lodge, the Pretty Family home, was full of weekend guests from Vancouver.
