Description:
Higher Coombe Farm is a family run working farm with mainly sheep and beef on about 160 acres. It is situated just outside the village of Tipton St John in the Otter Valley only 4 miles from Sidmouth sea front and the surrounding National Trust and Devon Heritage Coast.
East Devon is for many an unknown part of Devon, bypassed on the way further south-west. But it has beautiful unspoilt rolling countryside and miles of sandy and pebble beaches.
Higher Coombe Farm is the ideal base for exploring East Devon's small towns and picturesque villages, not forgetting the historic cathedral city of Exeter and also Dartmoor and Exmoor.
The accommodation consists of one family room, one twin or double-bedded room, one double-bedded room with en-suite shower and one single/bunks room. All have Colour TV, washbasins, Tea/coffee making facilities and electric blankets.
Guests have the use of their own bathroom, dining room and lounge with Colour TV. A log fire is lit on those cold spring and autumn evenings.Children are most welcome, with cot, high chair, babysitting, board games and jigsaws available.
