Description:
We are a Family run B&B situated in a conservation are of York .9 of a mile to the very centre of York (Parliament Street). All of our rooms are en-suite, 2 of which have king-size beds in with larger than standard showers in there en-suite. Wi-Fi is free. Car Parking is street parking with no restriction. A Full English, Vegetarian or Coeliac breakfast is included.
The Heworth Guesthouse is ideally situated for day trips to the Yorkshire Moors, Dales and the Coast. Castle Howard is only 14 miles out of York. Just a little further is Pickering where you will find The North Yorkshire Moors Railway, this is an 18 mile journey on a Steam Train through beautiful Yorkshire countryside finishing at the historic coast town of Whitby.
Thirsk, where James Herriot (James Alfred Wight) practiced, is less than 20 miles from York. Mousey Thompson the furniture makers can be seen in the Thirsk area (Kilburn).
