Description:
Situated in the outskirts of the picturesque and much filmed village of Eyeries with lovely walks on the coast, ancient stone circles, Ogham Stone (tallest in Europe) 20 mins walk, and only 10 mins from Castletownbere town & second largest sheltered harbour in the world.
Eyeries village has won silver awards for its tidyness and general presentation. It boasts a post office/store, newsagents, supermarket, seasonal coffee shop, two pubs with live music at weekends and a very pretty church.
Just before you arrive at Eyeries you will see the sports ground coming up on your right. Formanes House is signposted just before the sports ground on your left-hand side. When you get to Eyeries do not take the left turn into the village, instead continue on past the sports ground on the left and Formanes House is signposted immediately on your right-hand side.
