Description:
A mere 10 minute drive from Motueka, Abel Tasman National Park and Kaiteriteri Beach, Foley's Creek is set on four secluded acres with the Riwaka river as its boundary. Accommodation is provided in the form of two intimate self-contained, self-catering cottages to rent: the Gallery and the Hayshed.
We have plenty of space for children to run around and dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, so unwind and enjoy the peaceful, native surroundings. The accommodation may be of particular interest to trout fishermen as the Riwaka river is packed with Brown Trout - right on your doorstep! The Motueka river, which is even more famous for its trout, is just five minutes away.
Originally a pottery outlet, The Gallery can accommodate up to eight people with one queen-size bedroom, two single beds in the huge open-plan living space, and now the addition of a new bedroom which holds another queen size bed and two singles. There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, BBQ, DVD's, videos, a pond and the river is just a stone's throw away.
The quirky Hayshed has a pretty, queen-size bedroom plus a double bed in an alcove off the living area, and a double mattress on a mezzanine (sleeps 6). There is a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, BBQ, DVD's and videos, and it's situated right beside the Riwaka river.
