Description:
The FIRESIDE INN occupies a building, which has its origins in the 1880's gold rush. It is located only two blocks from Main Street in the national historic district of Breckenridge, Colorado. It is within easy walking distance of all of Breckenridge's fine restaurants and shops. During the ski season the free ski shuttle to the Breckenridge Peaks stops at our door. Shuttle service to and from Denver Airport is also available.
ABOUT US:
The INN offers a wide choice of accommodations, including a suite, rooms with private bathrooms, private rooms with shared bathrooms and dormitory facilities with shared bathrooms.
ROOMS:
All private rooms have TV with video, hairdryers and refrigerators and are individually furnished with antiques.
The Brandywine has a private entrance and features a sitting room with a day bed, separate bedroom with king size bed, and luxurious bathroom with jacuzzi tub and vertical spa shower. Guests of the Suite have exclusive use of the Hot Tub from 7:30-9:00pm nightly.
The Hunters is a spacious room with a king bed and day bed. The bathroom has jacuzzi tub with shower. The Hunters is made cozy with a gas fireplace.
Our colorful Wildflower has a queen bed and bathroom with jacuzzi bath with shower and Sweetheart is a cozy room with antique queen bed and claw foot tub with shower in the bathroom.
The Organ Loft, offered during the summer, has queen bed and five twins. This "room with a view" has its own private shower/bathroom and stunning view of the mountains from its own balcony.
All private rooms include "full breakfast" which are individually prepared. Our guests can enjoy “Afternoon Tea” on their return/arrival to the INN (extra charge during summer).
Our convenient location provides "free parking, bicycle/ski/board storage and maintenance area". All guests are invited to soak in the" Hot Tub "and to enjoy the sitting room with its homey atmosphere and fireplace.
Wireless internet access, microwave, refrigerator, cable TV, iron, hairdryer and ski/board/bicycle lock up are all provided for our guests' comfort.
Winter activities of skiing, boarding, snowshoeing, and alpine skiing are reached via the free shuttle bus that stops at our front door. Restaurants, shopping and nightlife are all within easy walking distance of the INN.
Summer offers a host of activities -- walking, hiking, sailing, tennis, and mountain biking. Special events include arts and craft fairs, music, and film festivals. While many guests come for a reunion with friends and family and to enjoy the mountain air and wildflowers, others come for the outstanding fishing or to be challenged by the Jack Nicklaus designed Golf course. Families should check out the SuperSlide or the largest human maze Amaze’n Breckenridge in the Peak 8 Fun Park.
The FIRESIDE INN is a traditional Bed and Breakfast with a truly British feel to it. The INN, located in the heart of Breckenridge, is housed in an 1880 Victorian building that is listed in the National Historic Register. Experience firsthand British hospitality in a comfortable family setting while relaxing and meeting people from all over the world!
Check in time is from 4pm to 8pm, late arrival by prior arrangement. Please call. Check out time is before 10am.
For the comfort of all guests, we do not allow smoking or pets within our Inn. We have two resident Poodles who would love to meet you.
Children are welcome and we can provide a crib and high chair
