The property provides a habitat for the rare North Island brown kiwi which can be heard calling at night and is occasionally seen.
Fernbrook's guests have a choice between a beautifully appointed two bedroom beachfront cottage and a luxury one bedroom apartment on two floors This is a wonderfully secluded retreat in which to relax and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in the Bay of Islands .
Our accommodation includes a charming 2 bedroom beachfront cottage, a luxury self contained apartment with a second adjacent bedroom available if required. Beachfront Cottage. Fully self contained, spacious and beautifully appointed with well equipped kitchen, laundry, sitting/dining room with open fire, study and two double bedrooms each with en suite. Relax and read your book on the deck overlooking the bay. Self-Contained Apartment. One large double bedroom with en suite, sitting/dining room, excellently equipped kitchen and laundry, separate outdoor sitting area and extensive sea views. An adjacent bedroom with ensuite is also available.
