The house proudly stands in over five acres of grounds and established gardens which provide a riot of colours throughout the seasons. Iain and Jackie Garside have been hoteliers in the Lake District for over twenty years, the last 13 creating Fayrer Garden House Hotel into the superb three star hotel which it is today.
Many of our guests have followed us over the years and we are delighted to say over 60% of our business is repeat or recommended. Our policy is one of continuing improvement without jeopardising the traditional values of a high quality, family run country house.
The elegant lounges have open fires and are very comfortable to sit, relax and unwind, perhaps enjoy a coffee with the morning paper, or afternoon tea after a good walk. Dinner in our superb restaurant willbe the highlight of your stay.
