Description:
Fairladies Barn is located in St. Bees, Cumbria.
St. Bees is Cumbria’s most westerly point, it is a small village built around an 11th Century Priory. It has a superb sandy beach, tennis courts and a nine hole golf course.

St. Bees Head, a red sandstone bluff, forms one of the most dramatic natural features along the entire coast of North West England. There are four miles of towering precipitous cliffs of St. Bees sandstone, this red stone is used for many buildings in Cumbria (including Fairladies Barn).

An RSPB Nature Reserve on the headland is home to England’s only colony of Black Guillimots. Puffins, terns and other sea birds can also be studied. There are observation and information points along the headland.

We hope that by exploring our website you can experience what it is like to stay in our beautiful coastal village in our 17th Century sandstone barn. We also have a virtual tour of our village for you to enjoy. We look forward to seeing you soon.

What a lovely guest house! Can't fault my stay. Would like to go back for a leisure visit because the only thing that spoiled it was that I had to work!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom flat on a bed and breakfast basis for 2 nights. The owners and staff were extremely helpful with advice about good beaches to visit. They were also very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good.
