Description:
Eagle House at Bathford is a small Georgian Mansion with 8 rooms, all with their own private facilities. The house is located in a quiet village just 3 miles from Bath and all rooms overlook either the garden to the front of the house or the one at the back. There are some spacious family rooms (children under 18 stay free if sharing their parents' accommodation) and pets are welcome too.
There is a large, elegant Drawing Room - ideal for business Meetings. In the Winter months there is a log fire in the evenings.
As well as the rooms in the main house there is a cottage (sleeps 4 to 6 persons) in the lovely Walled Garden. This has a sitting room and a kitchen in addition to the 2 en-suite double/twin bedrooms.
There are non-smoking bedrooms.
The grounds boast a fun tree house (open to all who can manage to squeeze in!), in Summer a grass tennis court and a croquet lawn and (all year round) a "Tarzan" swing. It's also an ideal spot for guests wishing to make themselves up a picnic.
There is ample off-road parking and for those without a vehicle there is an excellent bus service (starts early and finishes late) both to and from the city.
A stay at Eagle House is an opportunity to experience the ambience of a genuine Georgian house and perfectly complements a visit to this most beautiful of British cities.
