Description:
Drumellie Meadow is situated in three acres of gardens and woodland between Blairgowrie and Dunkeld at the western end of the beautiful Vale of Strathmore.
Scottish Tourist Board four star bed and breakfast accommodation comprises one double and two twin rooms - all are fully en-suite with baths, power showers, WC and washhand basins. All bedrooms have double fitted wardrobes, dressing tables, ironing facilities, hair dryers and toiletries for your convenience.
Spacious public rooms with large picture windows offer extensive views over the gardens and to the north towards Glenshee and Braemar.
Drumellie Meadow is ideal for use as a base for touring the Central Highlands.
For example, Royal Deeside, Glamis Castle and the Angus Glens, St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife, Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, Loch Tayside, Queen's View, Blair Castle, Dunkeld Cathedral and Scone Palace are all within an easy day's return trip.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over one hour's drive away.
Satellite television and private internet access available.
Ample parking in our spacious driveway. Garaging facilities also available. Secure storage and drying facilities available for sports equipment.
There are several golf courses within easy reach including the championship courses at Rosemount, Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles.
Fly fishing is available on the nearby Rivers Tay, Isla, Ericht and Tummel. Coarse fishing can be found on the nearby Clunie and Butterstone Lochs.
Early breakfasts and packed lunches can be provided with prior arrangement.
Permits can be arranged.
The Cateran Trail which begins in Blairgowrie is particularly popular with walkers.
