The Downcliffe House Hotel has been carefully refurbished to retain its former Victorian Glory, whist offering all modern amenities to guests. Downcliffe House is recommended by the Which Guide to Good Hotels 2004. Our in-house restaurant offers superb sea views, and has become renowned for our seafood options.
Owners Darren & lizzy Booth, and their friendly and efficient team of staff are on hand to ensure your stay is something special. The hotel has 12 bedrooms, most of which are large, high-ceilinged, and sea-facing with excellent sea views. Relax in our lounge and bar, with light background music all day. The highest standard of traditional dinners.
All our bedrooms have individual character and are uniquely decorated. All are en-suite, and guests can choose from two mini suites which are on the first and second floors. Both have a large king size bed and a separate seating area and have lovely views out over Filey bay. For anniversaries or that romantic weekend away why not stay in the four poster bedroom.
