The Dower House is more like a home than a hotel, and was built in the 18th century. The perfect base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands, this accommodation is also ideal for 'getting away from it all'.
The Dower House hotel is located 14 miles north west of Inverness, captial of the Highlands of Scotland.
This location is easy to get to, being well served by all modes of transport.
This is much more than a romantic Scottish Highland hotel - the house has a fascinating history to discover.It is a real 'home from home' where the hosts, Robyn and Mena Aitchison, offer Highland hospitality at its very best.
But be warned - one visit will never be enough. Once you have sampled the delights of this Scottish country home, you will simply have to return!
Robyn and Mena also own a self-catering cottage in Strathpeffer, near Dingwall and the Black Isle.
The Dower House has 3 en-suite double bedrooms and 1 suite.
All rooms are adorned with fresh flowers and have attractive views over the gardens. Bedroom facilities include direct dial telephone, colour television and radio alarm.
Each bedroom has its own personality and is beautifully furnished to an exceptionally high standard, whilst retaining the original charm and character that is The Dower House experience.
