Remaining in private hands, it has developed a style of its own and now offers guests a standard of accommodation that issublimely comfortable yet not in the least pretentious.
The high specification of furnishings have been chosen with your ease of convenience in mind and include television, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and hospitality trays. Deluxe rooms also have video recorders, CD players and fridge. Because of the nature and individual style of thehotel some guest rooms have small sitting rooms, other four poster beds and most enjoy stunning views of the lake. Those rooms at the front of the hotel that don't face onto the lake overlook a quiet lane with woodland and mountains beyond.
For lovers of fine food, the Deers Leap Restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes. Local produce is used wherever possible and there are always extensive vegetarian and healthy eating options available. Breakfast, designed to set you up for the day, is presented on a "semi help yourself" basis whereas in the evening we provide a full table service.
After dinner both the bar and the conservatory prove to be favourite places to relax, swop stories and make new acquaintances.
